Services for pet cats, feral cats, and pet dogs (chihuahuas/chihuahua mix only). Two options for feral cats: 1.  Feral Freedom” program – free to residents of above cities.  Feral cats can be surrendered every day 7am-9pm, no appt. needed. 2. Regular Spay Neuter Program – $25 if you want to pick up and return the cat yourself (no appt. needed, drop off 8:00AM to 8:30AM – Tues., Wed. and Thurs). Humane Society of Silicon Valley

Pricing and pre-surgery requirements vary by vet, so call in advance for more information and to make an appointment.

Feral Cats:

  • Spay/neuter surgery plus rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.
  • The cat’s ear will be notched for easy identification as one already “fixed.”
  • The cost is $10 for residents of unincorporated Santa Clara County and the cities of Gilroy, Sunnyvale or Mountain View.  The cost to all other County residents is $25.
  • Cats must be feral (not friendly) and must be brought to the veterinary clinics in a humane trap.
Pet Cats:
  • Spay/neuter surgery plus rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.
  • The cost for all County residents is the veterinary clinic’s regular price less $30.
  • Cats must be brought to the veterinary clinic in a secure carrier.
